Chief Executive Officer

Dr. rer. nat. Patrick Wucherer

Patrick Wucherer is co-founder and managing director of Medability. He is responsible for Business Development, Finance, Sales and Patents. He studied computer science with medicine as minor at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Technische Universität München and received his Master's degree in 2010. In 2016 he received his PhD at the Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) chair, Fakultät für Informatik (TUM), of Prof. Navab focusing on the development of simulation technologies in the field of image-guided minimally invasive surgical procedures. He is familiar with agile software development and holds an advanced Scrum Master certificate.

Chief Technical Officer

Philipp Stefan

Philipp Stefan is a founding member of Medability and responsible for Software Development. He studied computer science with a minor in medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He is currently pursuing a PhD at Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP), Prof. Nassir Navab, TUM with a focus on simulation and training in healthcare.

Director of hardware development

Angelina Wagner

Angelina Wagner is responsible for the hardware development. She received an industrial design diploma at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd. After two years of practical experience as a designer with the focus on medical devices and industrial goods, she continued her educational career and graduated with a master's degree in innovation and product management from the university of Applied Science in Wels. During her second studies she gained practical experience at MAN Truck&Bus AG and Knorr Bremse SfS GmbH.


Medical Expert

Dr. med. Simon Weidert

Dr. med Simon Weidert is a founding member of Medability and is responsible for Marketing and Networking, and conducts evaluation studies on Medability's products. He is doing his research and his surgical training at the trauma department of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. He is leading the research group Computer Aided Surgery and Simulation in a joint lab with the Technical University of Munich.
